Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer Do you know youre unlike any other? “Yeah, I got Mom.” Avery exhaled, running a hand through her hair. She picked up her coffee, balancing her phone between her shoulder and her cheek. She was staying with her Mother’s sister, Aunt Margi over the summer and her mom was flipping with worry. “Mom, Mom, Mom!” Avery laughed, rolling her eyes. It was always something her Mother had to check, were the kids mean to her? Did she wanna come home early? Did she have enough money? To top it all off her Mom had the habit of going into hysterics over every little thing.
“Alright Mom, seriously, stop!” She exhaled, switching her coffee into her other hand and holding her phone in her hand instead of on her shoulder, “I’m getting a job at Dean’s or Sue’s and I only have one friend at home so I’m used to people being mean but no one is. Now I’m shouting in public so I gotta go… love you too…. See ya.” Avery flipped her hair as she pressed the ‘End’ button on her phone. She was actually planning on picking up a cab and riding to the Hoagie House right then but fate is fate and some guy ran past her, making her spill her coffee all over both herself and the ground. The guy, however, kept on running.
The guy shouted and apology and grinned over his shoulder, was he seriously flirting with her? Avery’s face twisted in disgust and the guy disappeared and she leaned down, grabbing the coffee cup and tossing it into the trash can. “Well, so much for nice clothing..” She muttered bitterly, airing out her shirt.

He was walking nearly blind with a map in front of his face, his brow creased and his eyes troubled. He had a hard enough time reading english books, let alone an english map. Meanwhile, he had a phone pressed to the side of his face while holding it with his hand, the other gripping the map. "Nicht, nicht!" he said in a clipped voice into the phone. He was on the phone with his sister back in Germany who was constantly calling him. Trying to convince him to come home. "Ich beginne ein neues leben hier in Daeland. Ich bin nicht nach hause kommen." He listened to her talk for a moment longer before finally stopping at a street corner, looking up to the signs and back down the map, not fully listening to his dear sister. "Aleric? Aleric! Hörst du mir zu?" Aleric sighed heavily. "Anja, ich muss gehen. Ich werde Ihnen später reden." he said. Before she could protest, he hung up the phone and shoved it in his pocket.
Frustrated, the handsome German ran a hand through his thick hair, glaring furiously at the map. All he wanted was to get to beach for some time to think. For some peace and quiet. He had always enjoyed the ocean as well. Especially because Germany never provided the luxury of the beach. Then, he heard something just across the street. Startled, he looked up to see a young girl airing out her shirt, clearly soaked in coffee. He frowned in sympathy, forgetting his dilemma and jogging across the street. Without really thinking about it, he shed his jacket before he came to a halt before the beautiful girl. He held out the jacket. "Here." he said in a velvet accent. "Take this." Then he caught her eyes. His breath caught in his throat and his heart froze. Her eyes were the deepest, most haunting shade of brown he'd ever seen in his life.

Without look up she took the jacket from the guy, “You’re a life saver.” She flipped her hair, trying to get it out of her eyes, as she looked up. And when she saw him? When she looked at his features her heart skipped a beat. His eyes, his hair, the way his jaw was formed. “Oh my..” she breathed before snapping out of her trance, “Thanks, but I don’t want to ruin your jacket it’s really..” she looked down at it and it looked kind of… designer. He did not just give her an Armani jacket, no it wasn’t even a jacket – it was coat. A designer coat. But no, it wasn’t. It was just a rip off made to look like it was awesome. Not that Avery cared to comment on, it still looked nice. “Oh my gosh, I can’t take this!” I cried, handing it back to him and grabbing napkins instead.
Something felt off. Something in the way Avery felt attracted to him; that strange pull, her weird trance, the blush that had been rising onto her cheeks ever since she laid eyes on him. Something wasn’t quite right & yet at the same time everything was perfect if that made sense. A part of her felt as if it had become one.
Ooc;; This is crappy. xD I wrote it And then you said he wasn’t rich so I was like, “CHANGE” lol
